5 Steps to Rank Higher on Google Using On-Page SEO
Step 1: Search Intent
What information is your reader looking for and how can you give that to the reader? Solve for a particular keyword.
Step 2: On-page Metrics
Use lots of headings and subheadings, relevant pictures and videos to enrich the quality of your blog post’s content. And make sure you cover the entire topic. Look up what others have written.
Step 3: Metatags
Look at what your competitors are using for meta-tags and meta-descriptions and make yours better so it will rank higher. Make sure your tags and descriptions are relevant to the content on your page.
Step 4: Outperform your Competitors
Once again, look at the competition for word count, user experience, design. Is your post more engaging? Does the competition have backlinks?
Step 5: Keyword Research
Julian shows us one SEO tool called Ahrefs.com and what to look for in that perfect keyword with respect to keyword difficulty, search volume and traffic.
